Today I was out the the Birnie family and friends. We went rock climbing at Ballater in the morning followed by gorge walking in the afternoon to celebrate phil’s birthday. A great day was had by all! (more…)
Today I was out with a team from Seacroft Marine Consultants, training in Canadian canoes for the Ben Nevis charity challenge. the wind dropped and the sun came out for a great wee trip on the Dee.
Today I was out raft building at Knockburn Loch with a group of young people from Transition Extreme. Both teams worked very well together to make the rafts and complete the challenge of paddling the length of the loch and out to the island. Well done everyone!
Today Duncan, Alex and I were out with the Aberdeen wilderness medics doing a winter skills course. The snow was fairly wet and temperatures were above freezing but we found some good snow to look at the various skills they wanted to cover. A great day out!
